Today we had Mr Renie and Mr Linden came and speak to us about their cultures. We learnt all sorts of interesting facts and even tried on Mr Linden's clogs! Thank you Mr Renie and Mr Linden. We really enjoyed finding out about your cultures!

Today we looked at traditions from other cultures. We wrote down which country we thought the tradition was from and then Miss Kniveton showed us where in the world it came from. We found out about some really cool fashions and beliefs.

Logins and passwords can be found in your child's contact book. Please ensure your child's homework is returned on Friday to be peer marked and checked by the teacher.

Monday	English Complete Spelling Words week 1 sheet - ‘Write it two times’. (20 minutes)	Maths Complete Abacus Year 3 Week 1 homework sheet. (20 minutes)
Tuesday	Thai No Homework this week.	Mandarin Complete Year 3 Week 1 homework sheet 1. (20 minutes)
Wednesday	English Complete Spelling Words week 1 sheet - ‘Fill in the blank’. (20 minutes)	Maths Practice 3 x tables Learn them so you can say them without stopping: 1x3=3, 2x3=6, 3x3=9, 4x3=12... Be able to answer questions out of order : what is 5x3, what is 2x3, what is 8x3? (20 minutes)
Thursday	Thai No Homework this week.	Mandarin Complete Year 3 Week 1 homework sheet 2. (20 minutes)
Friday	PYP Unit of Inquiry Please bring in some pictures to tell us about your culture e.g. where you live, what food you eat, what celebrations you celebrate, what types of clothes you wear etc. (30 minutes)
Extension Activities :	Daily Reading (Raz Kids and Oxford Reading Books) Daily Maths Practice (Mathletics and Abacus Online)
